Com este projeto pretende-se criar uma paisagem de transi\u00e7\u00e3o entre o aglomerado urbano e a serra, em que a diversidade de ecossistemas e habitats naturais promove a biodiversidade ao mesmo tempo que \u00e9 feita a aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o desta biodiversidade aos visitantes da Quinta dos Pis\u00e3o.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Numa perspetiva c\u00e9nica do que se pretende para este espa\u00e7o, a floresta de querc\u00edneas \u00e9 dominante e alterna com os matos mediterr\u00e2neos com diferentes estado de desenvolvimento entre o carrascal e o maxial, pontuados por clareiras de prados naturais mantidas pelo pastoreio de gado, onde ocorrem orqu\u00eddeas entre outras bolbosas.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Os caminhos e trilhos existentes permitem desenvolver v\u00e1rios percursos a p\u00e9, de bicicleta ou a cavalo com apoio de sinal\u00e9tica direcional, sendo a experi\u00eancia complementada com informa\u00e7\u00e3o que vai sendo disponibilizada em pain\u00e9is interpretativos sobre os habitats naturais, o patrim\u00f3nio hist\u00f3rico-cultural e outros pontos de interesse.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>As estruturas edificadas como os est\u00e1bulos, azenhas, fornos de cal e casas de apoio est\u00e3o recuperadas e adaptadas aos novos usos, salvaguardando a sua tra\u00e7a original e mantendo a sua integridade, funcionando como apoio \u00e0 visita\u00e7\u00e3o ou pontos de interesse museol\u00f3gico<\/em>\u201d.
